Anyway: If I link Factions to an account, will my 6 character slots share the same puny amount of storage space? That might be a serious reason to not link. ..only getting two more slots is one thing, but missing out on double the storage would be worse.

There won't be any immediate increase in the storage, this is true. Like you said though, if you're linked you're getting two more characters with combined 100 more slots of storage. Not a bad start while they address upgrading the Xunlai.

The storage update will come out around the same time as faction release (maybe earlier or later)
